Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

    Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) joined forces with Ohio State’s chemistry department to share information with students, faculty and staff about laboratory safety in July. Informational EHS handouts, giveaways, prizes and smiles were in abundance to help Buckeyes learn how to "Be Safe Today, Remain a Buckeye Tomorrow" in their learning environments. Attending multiple educational events throughout the year, EHS engages in a variety of campus community outreach opportunities to promote a culture of safety throughout the university community.
