Class Overview
At the completion of this training, you should understand:
- Recognize hazards associated with agricultural equipment
- Discuss eight equipment hazards known to cause injuries
- Identify warning labels used of agricultural equipment
- Demonstrate reaction time as it relates to equipment hazards
Who is this class for?
This is recommended training for any CFAES employees who use hazardous equipment.
Kottman Greenhouse Best Management Practices
Class Overview
Everyone working in a Kottman Hall Greenhouse should be aware of the best management practices and are responsible for upholding the expectations and guidelines of the facility.
Who is this class for?

Tractor Operator Training
Class Overview
At the completion of this training, you should understand the following:

Athletics Training Classes
Bloodborne Pathogen
Class Overview
This training provides an overview of how the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standard (CFR 1910.1030), sharps safety, common bloodborne pathogens and the Athletics Department Exposure Control Plan relate to intercollegiate and recreational athletics.
Who is this class for?
It is offered required annually for all Athletic Department employees who are at risk of occupational exposure to human blood, body fluids or other potentially infectious material (as defined by the OSHA standard).
Concussion Education
Class Overview
This training provides education as to concussion. Diagnosis, relevant signs and symptoms, and return to play and the role of the athletic trainer is reviewed as it relates to intercollegiate athletics.
Who is this class for?
The training is required annually for sport coaches, strength coaches, and athletic trainers.

Campus Defensive Driving
Class Overview
The Campus Defensive Driving online safety module provides a basic introduction on how to drive defensively while operating university vehicles. Some of the topics covered in this module include driver distractions, how to safely navigate an intersection, backing accidents, and traffic safety on campus.

This is recommended training for any university employee that operates university vehicles or drives a vehicle on campus.
