Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Volunteers Needed Oct. 20 to Plant Trees and Shrubs

Volunteers are needed to plant trees and shrubs in Carmack Woods on west campus on Saturday, October 20 from 8:45 a.m. until noon. Facilities Operations and Development staff, including Environmental Health and Safety personnel, in partnership with Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW), need the help of volunteers to plant native plants in the area. These plantings will provide an improved, diverse habitat for native wildlife. Individuals or organizations interested in participating should email FOD Water Compliance Engineer Kent Halloran and include an approximate number of volunteers.
