The New EHS Assistant (EHSA) System is Coming in Early January 2019

The new EHS Assistant (EHSA) system is coming in early January 2019. The EHSA system allows authorized users the ability to manage safety and compliance information pertaining to their laboratories or work space. Environmental Health and Safety has scheduled several in-person training sessions during the first full week the system goes live. Currently, there is one session for radiation and research safety EHSA users (1.5 hours) and two sessions for research safety EHSA users (1 hour). While not required for the session, you should bring your own device -

Introduction to Laboratory Safety & EHS Course

Environmental Health and Safety will be offering the Introduction to Laboratory Safety & EHS course on February 13, 2018.  This 1/2-day course (12:30 – 4:30 p.m.)  is intended to give a high level overview of lab safety and Environmental Health and Safety at The Ohio State University. Training is intended for individuals who are new to the laboratory environment and is open to all university faculty, staff, students and sponsored guests. This course does not meet the specific regulatory requirements for working in a laboratory.
