Supervisors develop a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to properly identify hazards and protect employees. A proper JHA involves reviewing each job task to determine where hazards exist and providing recommendations for hazard elimination or reduction.
Include the following information in a JHA:
1. Job task description
2. Identified hazards
FOD’s Environmental Health and Safety team is excited to announce that the Good Catch program, which has a goal to reduce accidents in the workplace and classroom environments, is launching this week.

“It was really funny, but you learned a lot of interesting things, too,” Kelsey said. “I remember we would record episodes, and it was a really good science communication show for kids.”

“That headline scared me,” Halloran said. “How do you refer to this immense, freshwater resource as dead? How does that happen?”
